How To Order

Online ordering has become quick and easy on the new DryDockBoat.com! We've worked hard to provide a custom shopping interface to help you quickly and easily browse through our huge catalog of boating parts and accessories.

Product Browsing

To browse products, click on a category listed under the "Parts Department" heading to the top-left of this page. Categories may be nested inside each other, so you may be presented with additional ways to refine what products are found. If a category contains sub-categories, it will have a bulleted small arrow (instead of a square) in the left-side navigation, and when it is clicked you will see a list of sub categories in the main area along with a list of any on-special products found within the category that show randomly. You also have a list of all the on-special products that shows on the right of every page, also loading randomly. Once you have gotten to a category without any sub-categories, you will see a listing of all the products found in the sub-category.

If you are looking for a particular product, you can use the Search text entry at the top-right of the page. In this box you can type in any part of a category name or description, or a product part number, product name, description, or manufacturer.

Products will show in a grid listing - 9 per page. If more than one page of products is found, you will have the option of choosing your results page, or simply clicking Next and Previous buttons. If products are found that come in different varieties (such as sizes or custom features), you will get a drop-down list showing all the available varieties and their associated price. From a product listing, you can add the product to your shopping cart directly (if we have the product in stock), or click on the product picture or name to view more detail about the product including manufacturer, part number, unit of measurement, full description, and a larger picture.

Shopping Cart

Once a product has been added to your shopping cart, you will be presented with a list of everything that you will be ordering. From here you can remove products (by clicking the Remove button), change quantity to be ordered, and see a sub-total of your order (sub-totals do not include any shipping and handling charges). To return to product browsing, you can click "Continue Shopping". When you have confirmed what your order will contain, you can click "Check Out" to continue your order.

Check Out

When you have decided to check out, you will have the ability to log in to your account, create an account, or simply continue the order process without creating an account. We recommend creating an account if you wish to return to the site to check the status of your order, change your information, or place additional orders without having to re-enter all your information.


Address Management / Shipping Method / Payment

When you are creating your account, you will have the ability to create multiple addresses associated with your account. We've made the interface streamlined so that you can easily choose which shipping and billing address to use, or add new addresses.

Once your addresses have been chosen, below will show your shipping method choices and payment options. On this page, you will be able to choose your shipping and payment methods. Our shipping methods include pick up and ground, 2nd day, and next day through DHL. The shipping price quoted come from a calculation directly from DHL with a small Dry Dock Boat handling fee added to it.

Payment methods include check or credit card including Mastercard, Visa, and Discover. All payments are manually processed by a Dry Dock Boat representative after all the information in your order has been verified and all the products you ordered are in stock and ready to be shipped or picked up. This helps alleviate any mischarges or errors in the order process and gives you a real human contact that will work with your order from processing, to any questions that may arise, to shipping and notification.

Final Order Verification

After the payment page has been filled out, you will be presented with a final order verification page that lays out every piece of information associated with your order for review before you finalize it to be processed. When an order is finalized, you will receive an email along with a representative at Dry Dock Boat who will check over your ordered products, process your payment, let you know of any questions that may arise, and ship your order to you. Any changes that occur in the status of your order are logged through this web site, and can be viewed by clicking the "My Account" button at the top of this page and logging in.
