MPC 4000 Panel Mount Remote Control (Gen II), Pistol Grip

   Used on all current Mercury/Mariner outboards (with integral trim) and 1993 & newer Force outboards 40 hp and higher utilizing Mercury style cables (with power trim). When used with the Model Year 2005 & newer 8/9.9 FourStroke, 896145A_ Cable must be used. 8/9.9 FourStroke engines generation change above S/N 0R192772 will use 883719A_ or 883720A_ Gen II Cables. Comes with 4ft. trim harness with the 3 pin Molex connector. Power trim adapter harness included to convert 3 pin Molex connector to traditional 3 blade Mercury connector.
   Used on MIE (Inboards) & MCM (I/O) Engines Only - Non Trim versions.

The handle has an ergonomic design and is rubberized for a soft touch feel. The mechanics of the control have been redesigned offering smoother operation, improved responsiveness and increased strength. All panel mount controls have an integral laynard stop switch which is sealed for water resistance. Power trim models incorporate a single rocker type trim switch in handle for ease of operation. Controls can be mounted on starboard side only. Neurtal safety switch & laynard stop switch leads have bullet connectors on the ends. Must use Gen II Throttle/Shift Cable design. (883719A__ or 883720A__. All installations require a separate Ignition/Choke assembly.
